RECCC - Various scams to be aware of across the festIve period
We have been made aware - by RECCC (Regional Economic Crime Coordination Centre) - of a range of scams that people should be particularly aware of across Christmas and New Year.
The Metropolitan Police have released a flyer advising people how they can protect themselves from SIM Swap Fraud - this can be downloaded at the bottom of this article.
trueCall are a company that specialise in stopping nuisance calls and raising awareness of unwanted calls. They also have their own SIM cards available that work to block unwanted calls before they reach you, saving you the possibility of answering a nuisance call.
