The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (UK) - COVID-19 Helpline
The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association (UK) now have a COVID-19 Helpline for the public to access.
A national telephone advice line has been set up to provide answers and information for adults and families of children with sight loss:
0800 781 1444 - lines are open Monday to Friday from 9am – 5pm and you can give them a call about living actively, independently and well during the Coronavirus outbreak.
If you feel like you need local support you can contact the Newcastle Mobility Team. They have 26 dedicated and experienced staff serving the following areas:
- Northumberland
- Tyne and Wear
- Durham
- Teesside
- Cumbria
