Accessibility Report within Darlington Town Centre for those members of the local community who are disabled

The Research and Campaigns Team at Darlington, Redcar & Cleveland Citizens Advice are currently undertaking research into disabled access into venues, shops and public buildings around Darlington town centre. The objective of this research is to produce a report highlighting current problems and issues faced by many of the disabled members of the local community.

Whilst the report is still in its early stages considerable research has already been undertaken and we’d welcome your organisations contribution to this report.

In particular we’d like to receive any information, on any issues that have been raised by any individual person or service users, that they or you would be happy to share with us. Information could include for example, any feedback, views or comments from other users, statistics or research you may have conducted relating to the issues raised in our questionnaire.

Whilst the questionnaire covers the main issues to be addressed if you or your organisation would like to add anything else that you think would be of importance please do so.

Any information you feel able to share with us will of course, if used, be acknowledged within the report and would undoubtedly provide additional substance to it.

Replies to the questionnaire or any additional information can be sent by email to: researchandcampaigns@citizensadvicedrc.org.uk or delivered to: Ann Donald, Volunteer Coordinator Research & Campaigns Team, Citizens Advice Darlington, Redcar and Cleveland, The Core, Church Row, Darlington DL1 5QD

The closing date for receiving questionnaires and any additional information is Friday 28 February 2025.

We look forward to hearing from you.
