About GOLD
Growing Older Living in Darlington - GOLD – work towards providing a brighter, active and more positive future for people over 50 and also to improve the quality of life for all. We listen to views on social care, health and other issues, with follow up action taken whenever possible. With great partnership working, we are championing the causes of people over 50. GOLD, better known for the annual Tea Dance and with a number of sub-groups already running - Health Matters, Coffee Morning Catch-up, ICT Drop-in sessions and with plans to launch Gentle Exercise group and a Walking group within the next few weeks. 2024 is looking “Golden” shall we say – and positive!
