Get involved in the Children and Young People's Mental Health summit
The event organisers want to ensure invitations to be involved are carefully considered so that expectations are managed and the people coming forward feel that their involvement is valued. However, there is also limited agenda time for displaying stories so we'll need to be conscious that only a small amount will be part of video/narrative display. Please support the people you're in contact with to think about the range of ways they might want to get involved and to think about what they're comfortable doing. There is a consent form on the website.
Please find attached the leaflet for children, young people and families to invite them to get involved at the Children and Young People's Mental Health Summit, for you to share. There is more information in the detailed involvement brief online.
You will notice that the leaflet has a link to a web page that has the involvement brief and consent form on it. If you are intending to print any of these, please let the organisers know (jo.whaley@nhs.net) and they can provide a version with a QR code for scanning. Unfortunately they hit a problem with the link on the attachment- it needs copying and pasting into the browser to work.
Thank you for your support in making sure children, young people and family's insight is at the centre of this event. They will be sending out the actual invitations to attend the event in September.
