Barriers to accessing maternity care – understanding experiences of Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller families

Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller families face significant inequalities in maternal health, with high infant and maternal mortality rates.

'Friends, Families and Travellers' have been awarded local and national funding to build a better understanding of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller peoples' experiences of maternal healthcare in order to inform solutions which will help to ensure fair access to services and improve outcomes.

To gather these experiences a survey has been commissioned, and you can take part today.

If you are part of the Gypsy, Roma and Traveller community and would like to share your experiences of maternity care, good or bad, please click below
