The future of Palliative and End of Life Care Services - Have your say

NHS Tees Valley CCG is carrying out a twelve-week period of patient/public engagement (17 May – 6 August 2021) to understand the views of those who have supported a loved one with a long-term condition or cancer during the end stages of their life.

The purpose of the listening exercise is to look at how services provided to people who are in the last months of their life, known as end of life and palliative care services are currently delivered and what can be done to improve them so they are patient centred, offering individuals and their families access to collaborative, co-ordinated care.

This work is part of a pilot in the Tees Valley area (Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees and Darlington) by NHS Tees Valley CCG to develop a co-produced strategy for Palliative and End of Life Care (PEoLC) alongside local partners, patients, parent carers and service providers that will guide a transformational programme.
