A Development Programme for Patient & Citizen Leaders

The purpose of the programme is to provide a development opportunity for patient & citizen leaders who are working with people and services in the NHS. This could be in hospital trusts, general practice, mental health services, community services, research settings or elsewhere.

The programme is for people and patients who have stepped forwards to gift their time, insights and experience to work alongside clinicians and managers to achieve better outcomes for people receiving services. It is for people who would like to build their confidence and skills and to work as partners alongside people working in NHS services, strengthening relationships and building understanding. Participants will be invited to form a new patient/citizen leader peer network.
