Engagement event to share your views
NHSE/I, together with the Academy of Royal Medical Colleges, are holding a post-engagement event on 22 September from 9:00am – 12:00pm to provide the public and medical professionals with a platform to share views with them on previous proposals.
The primary goals of the Evidence-Based Interventions programme are to avoid needless harm to patients and free-up scarce professional time for performing other interventions - including creating headroom for proven innovations.
This post-engagement event is open to anyone and is encouraging patients, the public, clinicians, commissioners, providers, in fact anyone with an interest in health and social care to join the event so you can hear more detail, ask questions and feedback your views on the following:
- adult snoring surgery
- injections for non-specific low back pain without sciatica
- breast reduction surgery
- removal of benign skin lesions
- grommets for glue ear in children
If you'd like to register your interest you can do so by visiting https://www.aomrc.org.uk/ebi/ebi-engagement/.
