First Stop Darlington - 21st Birthday Celebration Event, Saturday 28th March 2020

First Stop is a great Darlington story like so many of our home grown charities in Darlington.  Our town has seen a significant increase in child poverty, which now stands at 35% of households with children living in poverty, including fuel poverty, hunger and poor private rented housing.  As a charity they have already supported over 9,000 individuals over the past 20 years and as they move forward they are making it their mission to increase this support to include families.  To do this they need to raise extra
funds to manage the additional costs.  They are responsible for finding our own funding and are currently funded through Trust Fund grants, donations and fundraising.
 
You can help them achieve their goal through attending their fabulous night of celebration, through donating or helping them find raffle prizes plus a range of other ways that can support a small charity.
