Community Grocery Store - 1 Year's FREE membership available during March
The Community Grocery Store located at Darlington Baptist Church are offering people 1 year's free membership to anyone who signs up during the month of March.
Darlington Community Grocery - run in partnership by The Message Trust and Darlington Baptist Church - state they are "open for the people of Darlington, helping to keep families fed and give members access to support too."
Part of the ethos of the community grocery is to reduce stigma by allowing anyone (regardless of their social or economic/financial status) to use the service. This 'access for all' ethos is what strives to eliminate the stigma attached to a person needing to use a food bank/community resource.
If you require access for ramp, there is a buzzer outside and a member of staff will come out and open the ramp doors accordingly.
