Tees Valley YMCA - Updated hub timetable, sign up QR code & other news - February 2025

The following is directly from Tees Valley YMCA

We have had such a positive first month for 2025! For instance, we have expanded our youth work team to be able to deliver 3 more youth sessions a week in the late evening. These sessions are on every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday from 6pm to 9pm. It is open access for young people aged 14 to 19 to tackle anti-social behaviour by offering a warm space, entertainment via a range of activities, and practical support.
As for events, our youth and community services team has already attended the Volunteers Fair at the Dolphin Centre on Tuesday 4th February. We will also be attending the ‘Supporting Children and Young People’s Health and Wellbeing in Schools in Darlington’ on Tuesday 11th February, 8:30am–4pm. Additionally, on Friday 21st February, we will have a stall at the Parent and Carer Forum event at Bannatyne Health Club and Spa for both time slots, 10am–1pm & 6pm–9pm.
We encourage the involvement of other local services/agencies in our youth sessions and would like to broaden our network.

If you know of a young person aged 10 – 19 years old who will be interested in engaging with our youth provisions. A referral can be made by calling 01325 462 452 and ask for youth and community services. Our youth session timetable and community services poster has been simplified (see below). Please also find the QR code (available to download below) linking to a referral form for parents/carers to complete on behalf of the young person. If the young person is aged 16+ they will be able to complete the sign-up form themselves.
