Eating Distress North East (EDNE) Training sessions available to book on Eventbrite

Are you a professional wanting to learn more about Eating Disorders? You can now book individual places on our CPD accredited training, and the first one is at the end of this month!

The following is from Eating Distress North East (EDNE).

Working with eating disorders for professionals is being delivered online via Teams on the 29th of January, starting at 10am.

Our training is interactive and an excellent introduction to eating disorders and eating distress, for any professional. From youth workers to GPs, support staff or teachers, it is important to explore eating distress and understand how you can best support the people in your care. This training includes strategies, how to start conversations about eating disorders and when to seek further support. The training is engaging with group activities, videos, and topical discussions too.

After the training, all participants will receive the training slides, additional resources, and a CPD certificate.

Please follow the link here if you’d like to book a spot (or to share with colleagues).

In February we are delivering Understanding Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID).

And in March, Neurodiversity and eating distress.
