Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel - Would you like to join the panel?

The Department for Education has launched the recruitment for a new chairperson of the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel.

The role of Chair is a varied one, and includes working with Ministers and senior government officials, leading the Panel’s work to support and disseminate learning from serious incidents, and working with a great range of stakeholders at a local and national level.  

 We are looking for individuals with experience of working strategically at a senior leadership level and operationally in safeguarding practice. However, the successful candidate will be appointed to fill this role as an individual acting in the public interest and not as a representative of their particular profession, employer or interest group.
