Eyes on the Baby - training to prevent Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI)

Darlington Borough Council are rolling out training in Darlington to prevent Sudden Unexpected Death in Infancy (SUDI). The training is free of charge and virtual, so easily accessible.

Darlington Borough Council are working with the Darlington Safeguarding Partnership (DSP) to ensure the Eyes on the Baby training is accessible to all eligible staff. The Partnership is committed to delivering high-quality multi-agency training and they are hosting the Eyes on the Baby training on the DSP ME learning platform.

The idea is to take a multi-agency approach to this, with people completing the training from a multitude of roles, who come into contact with local families. Particularly those who are vulnerable. This will enable them to get safe sleep messaging from various contact points, and not just from health professionals. There is information on the attached leaflet below, with the training link embedded.
