New youth group - Darlington & Stockton Heritage Railway
The following is from the Stockton and Darlington Heritage Railway 26mile project.
This will be a chance to create your own exhibitions, social media content and run events, based in a brand-new visitor experience attraction. We have connections along the original 26-mile Stockton and Darlington Railway line, with the opportunity for workshops and trips across the year.
Whether you are looking for a career in heritage and museums, events and marketing, art and culture – or you simply want to share or learn more about our local history, S&DR Young Producers could be for you! Join us in celebrating our local heritage, developing skills, and fostering connections and experience within the heritage sector.
S&DR Young Producers is open to those in Durham, Darlington and Stockton, ages 16-24. (If you are not yet 16 but turn 16 before or on the 21st of September 2024 you may still apply.)
