ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) Conversation Darlington - UPCOMING EVENT

ROC would like to invite you to attend a community engagement event on Monday September 23rd, 7pm-9pm at The Dolphin Centre, Darlington (DL1 5RP).

The following is directly from ROC.

There are already many great projects and work to celebrate across the area and a real vision for the future of Darlington. We come to lend our support to this great work and to help identify what more can be achieved collaboratively.

ROC (Redeeming Our Communities) has considerable experience of hosting ‘ROC Conversations’ having conducted over 250 of them across the UK.

The two-hour event is simple, effective and positive. We bring residents, local people, representation from schools, Police, Fire Service, Local Authority, NHS, faith groups, churches and members of community groups together to celebrate the good work already taking place in the community.  Between us, we then determine where any gaps in provision may be and, critically, see what each person present can offer to bridge the gap. The conversation always leads to the formation of an Action Group and positive practical change in the local community.

We are delighted that the initiative has already received support from many local organisations and agencies including; The Police and Crime Commissioner of Durham, Durham Constabulary, One Voice Darlington, Tees Valley Sport, and Darlington Council.

We always invite senior community representatives and civic leaders to ROC Conversations because we know of your desire to engage with community members and we also know that the community appreciates your presence.

The Conversation is open to all with an interest in Darlington area and you can book in to the ROC Conversation for free, online at: www.roc.uk.com/darlington
