From our headquarters in Darlington, we engage with over 2,000 individuals annually, resulting in more than 10,000 contacts. Our services include daycare, meals at home, groups, activities, and an Information and Advice Service that has secured over £2 million in unclaimed benefits last year.
We seek a visionary Chief Executive Officer to succeed our interim CEO at this pivotal time for our charity. The new CEO will spearhead a strategic plan for growth, enhancing existing services and developing innovative new ones to broaden our support for older people in our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and implementing a new strategic plan for growth.
- Developing and expanding our range of services to better serve our community.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including trustees, staff, volunteers, service users, and community members, to maximise our impact.
- Ensuring the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of our charity.
Candidate Profile: We are looking for a candidate whose values align closely with our mission and who possesses a genuine passion for supporting older people. The ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional leadership skills across the public, private or charity sectors.
- Knowledge of the charitable sector, health, and social care.
- A collaborative approach to working with diverse stakeholders.
