Youth Focus North East - Access Unlimited - Visual Awareness Training
The team at Youth Focus North East are fortunate to be able to facilitate Visual Awareness Training on behalf of the Royal Society of Blind Children.
Due to demand for this training they have now got two pathways for you (and your networks) to be able to follow.
Pathway one:
Access Unlimited - Interactive Online Zoom Session
This training course includes;
- 3 hours worth of teaching via Zoom,
- The participants then have the option to gain an accreditation from SEG and receive a certificate.
They run this session on a 4 weekly basis, offering am and pm sessions via zoom.1st session is 10:30am till 1:30pm, 2nd session is 5pm till 8pm. The dates below are the ones they have arranged at the moment:
- Thursday 11th July
- Thursday 8th August
- Thursday 5th September
- Thursday 3rd October
- Thursday 31st October
- Thursday 28th November
For online sessions, please book on following this link or the QR code in the attached poster. For this option there is a £15 deposit needed when booking your space on the course, this will be refunded if you attend the session.
Pathway two:
Royal Society for Blind Children Capacity Building Training Video
You can access a 40 Minute video through the registration link below. This training video has been created by the Royal Society for Blind Children and provides learners with information on how to be able to support Visually Impaired young people into your settings.
