LeDeR Free and Virtual ECHO Training Programmes

The Project ECHO Team at St Luke's Hospice wish to inform you about the LeDeR (Learning Disabilities Mortality Review) ECHO Training Programs that we offer. These programs are specifically designed for individuals who care for people with learning disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and autism.
Oral Health Training:
Our oral health training program focuses on promoting good dental hygiene and addressing the unique challenges faced by individuals with learning disabilities. Participants will learn practical strategies for maintaining oral health and preventing dental issues.

NHS Screening Awareness Training:
This program aims to raise awareness among carers about the importance of NHS screenings. We cover topics such as cancer screenings, vaccinations, and routine health checks. By understanding the significance of early detection, carers can advocate for the health and well-being of their loved ones.

Health Passports Training:
Health passports are essential tools for individuals with learning disabilities. Our training program educates carers on how to create and use health passports effectively. These personalized documents provide crucial information about an individual’s health needs, preferences, and communication methods.
Who Should Attend?
Family members, support workers, healthcare professionals, and anyone involved in caring for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, or autism.

Why Participate?
Enhance your knowledge and skills.
Improve the quality of care you provide.
Connect with a supportive community of fellow carers.
