STRIDE Stakeholders Event - 23rd January
The event is aimed at both adult and young person’s services who refer into and work with the STRIDE (Support, treatment, and recovery in Darlington through empowerment) partnership.
We hope to strengthen pathways that are already in place as well as developing new pathways, with the aim of bringing more numbers into service and giving more people the opportunity to benefit from the local specialist treatment offer. The day will highlight the work that is being done to improve the drug and alcohol treatment provision in Darlington and promote good working relationships to improve outcomes for the residents of the Borough. The day will include presentations and workshops from all elements of the STRIDE partnership including, With You, ACCESS (Assertive, community, connection, engagement, support service), Recovery Connections, IPS (Individual Placement Support), and Public Health, as well as talks from those with lived experience.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided and there will be time for networking.
Please complete and return the attached booking form (below) to public.health@darlington.gov.uk by close of play 8th January 2024. If there are other members of your organisation that you feel will benefit from attending, please ensure they also complete and return a booking form as spaces may become limited.
