VONNE - AGM 2023 - Agenda, and your chance to vote at the AGM
The following is directly from VONNE.
Attending and voting at our AGM is a key element of having VONNE membership. Our members give VONNE a collective voice with which we represent the North East VCSE sector, but you also help make our work accountable and representative. As valued members of VONNE, during the AGM you will be part of the following essential activities:
- agree the minutes from last year and review the accounts (both will be available on the VONNE website from early November);
- approve the appointment of auditors Read Milburn;
- re-appoint and elect trustees;
- pass a special resolution concerning articles of association (details below).
As a VONNE Member, you are part of our extensive networks and get voting rights at our AGM, helping make our work accountable and representative. The next step is to agree the accounts and minutes from last year’s AGM. To have your say, please make sure you sign up to attend the event, either online or in person. If you’re unable to attend, you can use the attached form to nominate someone to vote on your behalf (by proxy).
Don’t forget, by joining us at the AGM, you’ll also get to attend our Annual Conference, which this year is focussed on AI and the Charity Sector.
We have a packed agenda for you this year, including:
- Presentations from Zoe Amar Digital and TorchBox giving a top-level introduction to AI and an overview of AI for Digital Trustees.
- Real life case studies of how charities have used data and AI effectively in their organisation.
- A panel discussion with Digital experts.
- Plus, you'll have a unique opportunity to contribute to VONNE’s emerging strategy for 2024 – 2027, alongside our staff and trustees.
It’s not to be missed!
All of our members get discounted tickets to attend in person, or you can attend online for FREE! In addition to discounted tickets, Gold Membership+ receive TWO free places and Silver Membership+ receive ONE free place to attend the full Conference and AGM in person at Sunderland City Hall.
Places are filling up fast, so please confirm your place today and we’ll look forward to seeing you on 16th November.
