'Meals at Home' update from Age UK - Call for volunteer drivers
Age UK North Yorkshire and Darlington is currently looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver the meals for it's 'Meals at Home' service.
The charity’s ‘Meals at Home’ service was set up in 2020 to provide older people in Darlington and surrounding villages with a catered meal from kitchen to home.
Recently they have seen an increase of 300% in new requests for their popular 'Meals at Home' service as well as their free onsite café meals. As a result, they are issuing a call for new volunteer drivers to help deliver the service more effectively.
