Tees Valley Sport – Final phase in the Together Fund
They have a further £75,000 to distribute to partners across the Tees Valley. The funding is to increase physical activity levels and opportunities for those people least likely to be physically active, with a focus on four key audiences:-
- People with long term health conditions
- Disabled People
- Statistically disadvantaged communities
- Culturally diverse communities
The funding criteria and application process remains the same as present.
In this final round of funding there is the opportunity to fund programmes up to the value of £10,000. Any organisations that receive funding in excess of £4,000 will be subject to additional scrutiny and monitoring, commensurate with the size of the grant. There will be an expectation of genuine legacy from the application and an embedding of physical activity delivery as part of the organisations ongoing offer.
As ever they are working to a restricted time frame. The deadline for receipt of application by Tees Valley Sport is Friday 17th March, thus giving them time to liaise with applicants and upload bids to the Sport England Portal.
All funding must be committed to partners by the end of March 2023 and all funded activity scheduled to take place by the end of September 2023. (maximum of 6 months funded activity)
The Together Fund is competitive and finite. It is unlikely that they will have the resources to fund all requests in this final round. Applications will be processed on a first come first served basis, so it is in partners interests to progress their ideas submit applications as soon as possible
