Anna McLaren, Widening Participation Ambassador at STRIVE Academic Centre (South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust) is leading Health Education England funded project on behalf of health and social care partners across the Tees Valley.
She is exploring how access to health and social care jobs and careers can be improved to attract a diverse workforce reflective of the local community.
Do you have examples of innovative ways of supporting underrepresented or disadvantaged groups to enter the sector? Do you or the people you may support, have ideas of how barriers to employment could be overcome for these groups?
