Did you know almost a third of 5-10 year olds eat less than 1 portion of veg per day, The Food Foundation have published 'Veg Facts 2021' a report which looks at how much veg we are eating in the UK.
The report looks at
- How much veg are we eating?
- How much veg is in the supply chain?
- How do we eat our veg?
- Are we buying more or less veg than in the past? And are our buying habits changing?
- Why should we eat more veg?
- How do we encourage more veg consumption?
A series of fruit and vegetable characters have been designed and coproduced by young volunteers from Youthwatch Darlington and Public Health Children & Young People Lead, Kelly Rose to raise awareness, inspiring young people to make healthier choices.
