Care Quality Commission (CQC) State of Care Report
State of Care is the CQC's annual assessment of health care and social care in England. The report looks at the trends, shares examples of good and outstanding care, and highlights where care needs to improve.
State of Care found that as the pandemic gathered pace, health and care staff across all roles and services showed huge resilience in the face of unprecedented pressures and adapted quickly to work in different ways to keep people safe.
The Care Quality Commission are England's independent health and adult social care regulator.
