Parents of Pride
Parents of Pride is a Facebook group which has been set up for any parents of LGBTQ+ children looking for support and friendship.
Michelle Haigh already leads the LGBTQ+ youth group YPOP - Young People of Pride for teenagers in Darlington and is often asked if she knows of support for younger children. She set up this group as a place for support for the parents of any age children, in regards to any LGBTQ+ issues, from coming out as trans at school, bullying, finding others in the same situation to make contact with and maybe after lockdown, meeting in person.
