Food for Thought at the Hole in the Wall pub - Monday 23rd March 2020 Postponed until further notice

As you are no doubt aware, our community is facing an unprecedented threat from the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In addition to urging all of our members to follow NHS England’s advice on personal hygiene and distancing (accessed via this link), and to follow the daily updates from the Government for further guidance, Food For Thought Darlington trustees have made the difficult decision to postpone all public events and groups until we know what we are dealing with.

This means our fundraising event scheduled for 23rd March at the Hole in the Wall pub, the Easter community meal on 4th April and our cookery groups will all not run until we are sure that we will not endanger the health of the vulnerable residents of our town.

We are, however, going to try to continue our nightly food collection and re-distribution service for as long as possible.
